Dr. Luc Fillaudeau from the Laboratory of Biosystem and Process Engineering, Institut Nacional des Sciences Appliquees (INSA), Toulouse. His expertise is in irreducible couplings between heat, mass and momentum transport in complex and evolving biosystems. He will be hosted by Dr. Rizalinda de Leon and will be giving lectures in the ChE 298 (Challenges and Potential of Biomass Conversion to Biofuels and other Compounds), Tuesdays 6:00 – 9:00 PM . Dr. Fillaudeau will be one of the speakers in the Mini-Conference on Biomass Conversion to Biofuels on March 11 (Friday), 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (registration is 8:00 AM) at the Maynilad Room, Melchor Hall, College of Engineering. Opening Remarks will be given by Vice Chancellor for Research and Development Dr. Fidel Nemenzo and a message given by Chancellor Michael Tan. Eight invited speakers will present current developments on biomass conversion to biofuels. Attendance requires RSVP.
